1. What TakeMyPack is
TakeMyPack operates a technology platform that introduces senders to travellers with spare baggage capacity.
TakeMyPack is not a carrier, freight forwarder, customs broker or insurer. Transport is performed by the individual carrier, who acts on their own account.
2. Sender responsibilities
Senders must declare the contents of a shipment accurately and completely.
Senders are responsible for ensuring the goods may lawfully leave the origin country and enter the destination country. Requirements vary by jurisdiction.
3. Carrier responsibilities
Carriers must inspect a package before accepting it and may refuse any shipment.
Carriers must not accept a package whose contents they have not seen, and must comply with all airline and customs rules applicable to their journey.
4. Payments and escrow
Payment is held by a payment provider until delivery is verified or a dispute is resolved.
The platform fee is disclosed before payment and may change with notice.
5. Limitations
Delivery times shown in the product are estimates and depend on flight operations outside the platform's control.
